Legal expenses

The legal costs of Cory's defense as of April 16, 2008 have amounted to $453,708.60. $70,600.00 has been paid, leaving a balance of $383,108.60.

Even though proven innocent of all charges by Jury trial, Cory has been suspended from his job without pay. These costs are financially devastating to the Voorhis family.

February 7, 2008 fundraiser

On February 7, 2008 a fundraiser was held for Cory Legal Defense (CLD) at the Euromotion Motorcycle Shop, 2020 S. Broadway. It was a tremendous success! Here is a financial accounting of funds received:

Disbursement

CLD is obligated to disburse funds directly and exclusively to Cory's legal expenses.

No funds have been applied to overhead, fundraising expenses, or to salaries or expenses for CLD volunteers.

Campaign Compliance Center, CLD's fiduciary agent, charges a modest fee for accounting and account management services ($100 for the year 2007).
