Legal costs of Cory's defense as of April 16, 2008 had amounted to $453,708.60. $83,859.08 has been paid, leaving a balance of hundreds of thousands of dollars. Even though proven innocent of all charges by Jury trial, Cory has been suspended from his job without pay. These costs have been financially devastating to the Voorhis family.
